Hooters - Delaware: The Last Call for an American Classic We all knew this day was coming. The signs have been there for years--menus getting smaller, crowds getting thinner, a creeping sense that the golden era has long since passed. Hooters, once the undisputed king of wings and good times, is on its way out. And that's a damn shame, because no matter what anyone says, this place was always fun. You can still see where the high water mark was. The energy isn't quite what it used to be, the crowd a little quieter, the neon lights buzzing just a little dimmer. But the wings? The wings are still good. Perfectly crispy, just the right amount of sauce, the kind of thing that makes you wonder why more places can't get them right. And the beer? Still cold, still hitting the spot. That is, of course, unless you want a pitcher for yourself--because apparently, that's not allowed. I found that one a little strange. Especially since my wife, who was driving, was sitting right next to me. A grown man, in a sports bar, ordering wings and beer, but no pitcher for one? We live in odd times. Still, none of that changes the fact that we're losing something special. Hooters was never just about the food. It was about the experience--the loud, ridiculous, unapologetically American atmosphere that made it feel like a party every night. And when these places are gone, we're going to miss them more than we realize. So go. While you still can. Order the wings, get the coldest beer they'll allow, and soak it all in. Because one day soon, Hooters will be just another entry in the nostalgia books, and you'll wish you had one more night to enjoy it.

Closest Hooters to me in Delaware. When I am in need of some hooters wings I make the drive and enjoy my favorite restaurant. This location definitely makes the wings crispy and extra wet!

This review is way overdue, but I was there for a Monday Night Football night while in town for work. I would like to give kudos to Rachelle, the bartender, as she was very quick, attentive, and engaged all of her customers. In addition, the Manager On Duty ran a very tight & orderly shift. Any time that I'm back into town for work I will HAPPILY spend my evening here.

The food was amazing I got a Big Hootie Got a gin and Ginger cuz I'm a degenerate like that. Service was top notch. Had a great time. Even bought merch... I would commit to marriage with a hooters girl any day.
